September Open Weekend

We are now only a month away from our September Open Weekend, when we will once again be treated to the extravagant and fascinating costumes of the Steam Punk Community. This will be the third year that we have hosted this group and they will, as in previous years, be supported by a number of stalls selling a wide range of Steam Punk related items, in addition to our regular stallholders.

The Gas Engine, Beam Engine and Boiler should all be operating, as should at least one of our small engines. The Blacksmiths will be demonstrating their art and providing examples of their wares for purchase. They will also be accepting commissions for special items and taking bookings for their excellent Blacksmith Experience Day.

As usual our ever popular Cottage Tea Room will be providing food and beverages throughout the weekend.

MacMillan Coffee Morning, Wednesday September 25th

This is also an appropriate opportunity to announce that Wednesday September 25th will see our second MacMillan Coffee Morning, from 10am to 1pm. Last year we raised £700 for this worthy cause and, with your help, we hope to better this sum this year.

We look forward, as usual, to meeting old and new friends alike at both these September events.
